It's a drawing by William Kentridge and while I've always loved it, it never resonated more with me than it does now since I lost a friend last year that was my soulmate in many ways. There are never any words for the feelings that come with loss, yet somehow Kentridge captured it all with this one drawing
this makes me weep every single time i see it.

ReplyDeleteNo, I don't know anything about it. I just saw it at SFMOMA last year and was thrilled that they allow photos. I haven't seen any prints.
